Looking for a lunch spot in Lake Charles, preferably with a view on the water and close to the Golden Nugget. What yall got?

Laguna’s on Lakeshore is the only one that comes to mind “on” the water (the lake is across the street). Much better food at Cafe Luna or Pujo Street Cafe. Or Darryl’s for a sloppy sandwich. None are far from the Nugget. Gordon Ramsay’s Steak House in the Isle of Debris I think is on the water, but they have very limited hours (dinner W-Sa IRRC)

Gonna be tough to find unless you are at the casino.
Get a Darryl's special with jalapeno mayo or a muffuletta at Pronias. They are 5 minutes from Golden Nugget

Off the path a bit, and no view, but Cotten's hamburgers and onion rings you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the suggestions they all sound good. I'm not that familiar with Lake Charles as I've only ever driven through. We are staying at L'Auberge so something there might also be a good option

man dont stay at the casino, but nugget has way better choices than laberge, but go enjoy a local place. highly suggest darrells or the bekery for lunch.
but here are some other choices.
sandwiches- darrels, buffis, coolers ice house, pronia's deli or bekery are all close and very good
nicer places(especially dinner) would be luna, 121, calla, pujo, villa harliquin, pats of henderson, (chart house in the nugget)
mexican- lagunas, nocal are close by plus others
boiled seafood- OBs, seafood palace, beauxdines
burgers- calla, cottons, maplewood burger, nina ps
low key plate lunches- southern spice, nina p, leonards

Outsider's rec: get an ice chest, head east to Exit 44, fill ice chest with Rabideaux's smoked andouille, tasso, and smoked sausage. Have a blessed day.

yep all great too
Rabideaux over in Iowa is awesome for plate lunch and the best sausage in the state by a good ways too, if you heading east to leave, i highly recommend it
LC actually has pretty vibrant food scene.
if you really must be on the water..lighthouse bend down in cameron is supposed to be good, but its a long haul for sure from the casinos.

solid plate lunch groceries as the fried catfish fillets are as big as a size 12 shoe sole.
