Looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try out. Which place is your favorite?

** I apologize for not reading your whole thread before I got excited as it is lunch time-- Not located in BR area.... **
This fine establishment is located in Jennings, La. Food is delicious and staff is very friendly. 11/10, would recommend.
Nice size Koi pond located in front and its usually 85 degrees inside so dress light.

What kind of Mexican? Like TexMex? Or traditional Mexican?

Doesn’t really matter. I like traditional Mexican while the wife prefers Tex-Mex. We’re open to either option as long as the restaurant is good

mexican is now on most every corner these days along with sushi places
majority in baton rouge are tex mex variety which superior and Mis Padres are our favorite
if you want authentic mexican then don beto's is really good and you can hit up Gilla brewing right next door

Best birria tacos hands down, but there are a few other places around town I'd go get a standard plate and margarita.

I don't know what the best one is. I'm a fan of El Rancho out on Florida.

The place on Siegen Ln. across from Rooms to Go.
Not even sure it has a name other than “Supermercado y Taqueria”. No English spoken, no English on the menu.

Yep - it's awesome. So many people don't know about it

Went to Modesto tonight and it was excellent. Great flavor on their adobo chicken enchiladas. Also got their steak tampiquena and it was super tender and juicy.
I like Blue Corns Margs the best. Also have great skirt steak.
Superior is only good for their fajitas and margs. Their garlic butter sauce with the Crazy Javier is one of my favorite dishes.

Had dinner with a big group there, maybe a couple of tables of ten. Took our time, food was good and had a fun night.
