Why do people get an orgasm about pinkberry? Its just overpriced frozen yogurt.

Because people think paying 6 bucks for a scoop of frozen yogurt somehow makes them sophisticated.

Its cheaper than Whole Foods desserts.

I put Whole Foods in the same category as Pinkberry. Overpriced stuff for yuppies who think they are cool for shopping there.

I like WF, but would much prefer HEB and Central Market in BR and La.

IMO, the one redeeming quality about Whole Foods is that some of them buy local produce and contribute back to the community where they're located. that's always a good thing. don't know if the one in BR does this.

some of the private label WF items are legit and worth the price.
for most groceries, neighborhood walmart ftw

Because it's from California...
I went w/ a Cali girl last week and it's pretty good...but it's overpriced.

I spend just as much at pink berry as I do at baskin robins or TCBY. Granted you get more at the latter places but pink berry markets itself as being a healthy treat. It's pretty good for that. If I wanted a huge desert and didn't care about the calories, I wouldn't go to pink berry.

whole foods is solid for salad bar, the deli sandwiches, pizza, fresh sausage and some of their poultry they have stuffed.

Whole foods smells like hippy fart.
I go to fresh market off perkins. Far superior in terms of produce and meat. Their seafood isn't bad either, just doesn't have as much as WF.

You sound bitter over being too poor to enjoy Whole Foods' high quality produce and meat selection.

They do have a much better selection than most places. Out here the produce at farmers markets is far better than anything I've ever gotten from a Whole Foods though.
