What in your experience is the best brand and why is that?

Not caught up on brand
Make sure you’re taking creatine HCL, not the monohydrate

I buy this at Costco when it's on sale:

Why? I've been told do monohydrate. It works for me. I have tried True Nutrition and Nutricost (Amazon), both have been fine.

I use the ConCrete hcl. It’s highly soluble I get no bloating or the shits with it no matter how many scoops I use. In theory all you need is at minimum any brand that is creapure. Avoid creatine from China. I also now believe like lsu777 has posted that creatine in the 10 to 20 gram a day level is far superior for serious lifters.

If anyone is in charge of this board, please please please, can we have a sticky'd thread at the top of the page for CREATINE!!!!! The search function does work, I know, I've used it, but apparently no one else can figure it out. I feel as if we get the "creatine question" about twice a week, fricking ridiculous.
Just pick any one of the previous low effort creatine threads and sticky it to the top of the fricking board.

I’m going to try that. I stopped taking it this week. The bloat was outrageous. I only took on 3 lbs but my stomach felt like I had just eaten a huge meal, all day long. The brand I was taking was some Walmart brand. Probably equate

While both can lead to similar results, HCL is generally considered to be more water-soluble and may require smaller doses, potentially reducing digestive issues. Monohydrate is more affordable and has been more extensively studied

I use RHO liposomal creatine. It’s pretty easy to take.

Yep creapure or something not from china..10-20g for performance and brain health

I do close to 20miles a week running. Will that negate the benefits of creatine??
About 5g/day. Should I increase?? Lift 3-4 days a week 30mins.

I buy this Nutricost with creapure. Does anyone else think it's any good?

That’s the one I buy. I get the big tub.
Posted on 4/20/25 at 8:48 am to DrDenim
I did a glancing search and turfed up equivalent of a net scoop of used tires, plastic from 6-pack cans and a diaper.
Just think, your ire burned 15 calories. You are welcome.
Kidding. Hear u.

At what age is it appropriate to start taking creatine?
Posted on 4/20/25 at 12:15 pm to Artificial Ignorance
I get it from Sam's. I don't think the brands really matter for creatine; kind of like which brand has the best salt.
