Changing bulbs in a vertical-pointing chandelier?

This seems like a dumb question, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
I have an older chandelier with upward facing bulbs like this:
I need to change them but its in the foyer and too tall for any ladder I own (or would get on), and I can't quite reach over to it from the second floor overlook. I was looking for a tool to unscrew them but can't find anything that looks like it would work.
Can anyone recommend an approach?

Helped my friend with this. Had to pay some maniac with a huge ladder to come do it. Some of these lights are installed with some sort of winch to lower it.

They should make a drone for this.

I don't know. You may need to rent a ladder.
But would make sure and replace them with LEDs for longevity.

I agree with the ladder rental.
I still use leds because they are most readily available but I think the longevity claim is one of the biggest scams out there. Have changed many leds within the 3 years in my house.

No tool that I know of. Your best bet with a 2nd floor is to figure out some sort of a hook on a rod to pull it over to you from the 2nd story and change them out from there.

Had a similar problem with similar chandelier.
Initial solution was to befriend someone with tall ladder and have them bring it over to change bulbs.
That was costing me too much beer, so I bit the bullet and bought the big-arse ladder. Fortunately, I have found enough other uses for the big-arse ladder.
PS It is still a PIA to drag out the ladder to change bulbs, so I usually wait until half the bulbs are burned out before replacing them.

Hell, even if they made a tool for this, there is a very good chance you'd break a few bulbs trying to unscrew them.
I have the same type bulbs in 3 fixtures in my house and every once in a while, one will be so stuck that the bulb will break where it connects to the base and I then have to use a pair of needle nose pliers to get the base out.
Oh, and ALWAYS make sure the light is turned off when replacing bulbs.

How high are the bulbs from the ground?
You can get a tall lightweight aluminum ladder pretty cheap.
Edit: sorta cheap. $250-$275 for a 12 ft.

If you have access from a second floor mezzanine can you lasso the fixture and pull it to you?
Or use a stick, garden hoe, etc.

Find a friend with a Little Giant ladder. Then replace the bulbs with Cree LED’s in 2700 kelvin temperature.

I have to go from the second floor and hook the fixture so I can swing it over to me in order to change mine

I ended up using a bulb changer that attaches to an extendable pole. It made swapping bulbs a breeze without having to teeter on a ladder. Just make sure to get one that matches your bulb type. They come in different fittings for various bulb shapes and sizes, so checking compatibility is key. If you're unsure which tool to use or need guidance, visiting various websites or looking up tutorials can be helpful. I often follow leds.to, and they offer a lot of great articles about lighting, including product recommendations and comparisons.

Depending on how bougie he was, the fixture may have its own lift and there might be a switch to lower it

Hell yea what a hell of a bump.
I ended up having a handyman with a massive ladder handle it for me, appreciate the updated insights!

Same setup in my house with a with a big-arse chandelier that's a crazy height off the ground in the foyer.
My solution was to stand on the balcony and pull in the chandelier with a boat hook to change the bulbs.
Depending on the height of the balcony and distance to the chandelier you may need to be on a ladder.
Prayers sent.

I agree with WB above, worth trying. Also agree with replacing ALL bulbs with CREE LEDs. Take the time to determine what Kelvin Temperature bulbs you want. 5000K bulbs will likely look like crap and you don't want to have to replace the bulbs a second time.
