I have two I have ignored and haven't watered and both have bloomed the best they have ever bloomed and are loaded with blooms now.

Anybody else experience this?

Just the opposite for me. Mine are showing very small blooms and they don't last but a day or so and start fading badly.

Same. Everything else around them is dead but they have done very well this year.

Mine are doing well, and our camellias just started blooming last week.

Rose bushes looked great until September and went to shite. They are recovering now but they looked sketchy for a bit.

Mine are dead, no chance of saving them
Planted early last spring, started having issues this spring(spots on leaves, not growing),nursery said too much water which to me is odd because they weren’t being watered
After the drought they are gone & im hesitant to replace them

The azaleas around the house have had maybe 2-3 blooms total since we’ve been here (3 years)
Guessing it’s the flower bed soil

Knock out roses are just about the easiest things to grow

I have seen them thriving in parking lots and street medians.

I’ve lost three knockout bushes but the other 9 are blooming more vibrantly and plentiful than ever before. Like you, I’ve ignored them and focused on watering my lawn instead. My lawn is dead as can be and most of the knockout roses are flourishing. Go figure!
