could you imagine in an alternative universe what LSU fans would do if our ball coach lied coming off a CWS loss and was announced to go to another school IN STATE the following day…
crazy times in college athletics.

Say what you will about the rivalry between Texas and ATM, but that was a total dick move by Schloss. Maybe the worst I’ve seen by a coach.

I have seen some dick moves, but yes, I think that one takes the cake I always kinda liked Schloss, but now he's up there with Sully and Vitello with me.

ETA: I hope he flames out bad at Texas, ruins his career and sets the Texas program back for years.

This actually did happen in reverse! LSU was looking for a Head Softball Coach and we plucked away legendary Yvette Girouard from ULL!

Their program had so much more history than ours at that time and we stole her away! Their damn field is named after her but most remember her at LSU! Now think about that...it is the all time BIG BROTHER MOVE!

I was always ambivalent towards Schlossnagle with regards to his character. I have always thought him to be one of the best coaches in college baseball. However, this season, in the 4th inning interview with ESPN in our game with them, with us in the lead in inning 4, he insinuated that their pitcher was getting wrecked because we may have been stealing signs,…..in effect cheating. Who does that???!!!

100%. Take the feelings for A&M out of it, his press conference reaction to the question and then the next day accepting the offer is a 100% total clown show. No respect for that him at all.

Longhorn radio is trying to spin it this morning as the whole thing being about relationships, so that they don't have to face the main point of it being shitty.

Especially after he shamed a reporter who asked him a question about it after their last game.

Actually it was a pussy move, as his much younger gf doesn't like BCS and wanted him to be in Austin. The money (1.35 v 1.46) is very close. The hair is stronger than the Atlantic cable.

Saban’s move was nothing like this. He would’ve taken the LSU job back had Miles not had such success. I never held it against Saban for doing that.

He said the same thing about the Miami Dolphins gig....

But to the OP....Tulane used to be in the SEC and was a pretty big rivalry for LSU back in the day.

Now that Tulane is competitive again, I'd like to see LSU play them more often!

Well yeah, is it a mystery how Georgia has had its football success lately? Was just a matter of time. Luckily for us, the same is true.
