Mike Scarborough and Buddy Songy reported that Steve passed away today.

Terrible news. He battled that disease for a long time. He stuck around at LSU for awhile too despite never being the OC

I hope they got permission from the family before reporting that.

I feel uneasy about "reporting" deaths.

There are very few illnesses worse than Parkinson’s. Horrific illness.

I don't know how bad his Parkinson's was or if that contributed to his death, but he doesn't have to deal with that anymore. Made whole within the kingdom of Heaven. RIPip.

Say what you will about Miles, but his keeping him on staff after his diagnosis was a class act. Parkinsons, Alzheimers, and Cancer are horrible diseases.

analysts roles allowed LSU to keep him on staff which was big so he could keep his health insurance
