One of my favorite LSU football memories of him calling LSU. You will be missed baw. Massive part of my grade school days falling in love with LSU.

His Britney Spears call was a little bit weird.

He did Sunday Night football on ESPN in the 80s when it first started?

My brain got bungled and I was thinking Jon Miller.

Tried to sneaky edit real quick

Called a bunch of great LSU football games and called a lot of the pre-championship CWS games in the 90's when ESPN/ABC had the rights for the bracket and CBS had it for the finals.

Great announcer and his voice is a defining moment of my childhood.

His call of the final out of the 09 CWS title game was really bad though.

Same. He was one of the unmistakable voices of college football back in the good old days.

I will never forgive myself for getting drunk and leaving the stadium early as a freshman.

Les knew we had it as soon as the ball was in the air on the Flynn to Byrd.

Didn't he call LSU vs Auburn 1988 too?

Flynn definitely pulled that one out his arse. The call was definitely “throw it away if you don’t have anything.” People gave Les way too much credit for this.
