Shedeur may actually go undrafted

In the 3rd-7th round, you are only taking QB’s you intend to be backups and developmental projects. Shedeur made it clear in every team meeting that he was unwilling to play for any team that would not let him “change their franchise.” He isn’t willing to be a backup. Why would you draft a locker room cancer and social media diva to sit on your bench? You don’t.

Nah. He'll go in the 4th.

This really is great.

i wish but wont happen. He's too good for someone like Seattle, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Vegas to not take a flyer on him. Id be surprised if hes not gone in the 4th.

The Browns and Raiders had multiple picks in the 3rd and still haven’t taken him. This is a pretty clear message being sent.

This isn’t a bad take. Easy to argue he isn’t worth league minimum

I agree. A late round draft pick for what appears to be a future locker room cancer?!?
I don’t see anyone taking him.

The role of a 2nd or 3rd string QB requires unique mental fortitude and humility. You don’t get to rotate in and play 20% of snaps to prove you deserve more. You have to prepare hard every day waiting on an injury or hoping the starter has a terrible season while supporting him, the team, and the coaches who have you on the bench every snap. You are a golf caddy and the complete opposite of “Legendary.”
Shedeur is either your 1st round franchise QB, or he isn’t on your team. He never applied for a backup role and Daddy has never let him be a backup.
Once he fell out of the 1st and early 2nd, the job description completely changed and Shedeur made it abundantly clear the last 6 months that he isn’t interested.

Well said. That's the reality of the situation.
Unfortunately, the deluded narrative that has been pushed for months now
(by team Sanders, Fox, ESPN and all of the "experts") is that Shedeur was the best QB available, a first round pick and any team would be lucky if he chose to play for them.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out, but it is going to be hard for them to keep the hype machine going when the rest of the world moves on with reality.

The problem is most if not all "flyer" players are not even a fraction of the drama and obnoxiousness of a Shedeur.
I would never take a flyer on a player as loud, obnoxious, and frankly disrespectful as Shedeur Sanders.
The amount of distractions that could come from such an irrelevant player is astonishing.
Even now the media can't just let him slide, teams will be answering more questions about Shedeur than their first round draft picks. Why would any player or team sign up for that? I would want nothing to do with it.

This is exactly right. He wasn't talented enough to go early and now he's too loud and obnoxious to be a later pick.
He's an all or nothing guy. A perfect incarnation of the modern age.
Every team expects late round draftees to put their heads down and work their way up and even the more entitled and talented ones have done that over the years. Even guys like Antonio Brown weren't near the nonsense of a Shedeur.
Shedeur has shown zero humility or willingness to be apart of a team without special attention or VIP treatment.
Hell, even Lonzo Ball blended in with his teams.

He will get drafted and get his opportunity.

I don't actually think he'll go undrafted but the point is sound. The teams that NEED Quarterbacks already drafted one. Even after the 1st round, this sort of applied.
So, now, Drafting him would just be a fricking headache for what? A backup? Nah. Go get some OL help.

It would be much better for Sanders to go undrafted at this point, imo. He doesn’t need the money. And it gives him some control on where he ends up.

Y’all think Deion is in on it? Understanding the boy needs time to develop?
