The Munsters for me all day.
Marilyn Munster as the strange one is an added benefit.

Munsters. The one where Herman tries out for the Dodgers is a classic: Youtube

The Munsters were funnier to me and i liked Lily, but Mortisha looked like she was into freaky deaky stuff...

Liked them both when I was a kid, but I'd tilt toward "The Munster's".
I always liked Fred Gwynn as an actor and he was funny as Herman Munster.

Adams Family. Munster's seemed too corny for me.

It's got to be the Addams Family. John Astin was hilarious as the nonchalant Gomez. Lurch, Thing, Fester, etc.? Both good shows, but I laugh more with the Addams'.

Munsters is the better show. Addams family is more lasting.
They actually tried to reboot the Munsters a few years ago with Eddie Izzard. It was horrendous. It aired one episode at Halloween and had an option to pick it up, but they never did. It was called 'Mockingbird Lane' I think. Wasn't even a sitcom, but more horror oreineted. It was kind of the last gasp of everyone trying to catch the Twilight/True Blood wave.

There was also The Munsters Today show in the 1980s. It was really bad. You can watch it for free on NBC's site:

Munsters. Just recently started watching it again on Hulu with my kids and they love it.

I loved both! Not fair to choose...
I'm going to lean slightly towards the Addams Family only because of Gomez...
Trivia question..Did you know that Lily Munster was Moses Wife in the 10 Commandments?
