Looks like the return of the USS Callister and Bandersnatch. Only a few of the recent episodes have rivaled the originals before Netflix took over. Luckily Callister was one of them. Six episodes for this season.

Is this show still good?
Once Netflix bought it I did not really care for most of the episodes (USS Callister notwithstanding).

Breaking it all down
The National Anthem - Nasty
Fifteen Million Merits - Pretty good, gave us a song that has popped up here and there in future episodes
The Entire History of You - Good. Once again, we can see this coming in our lifetimes.
Be Right Back - Good
White Bear - Great one. Did not see that twist coming.
The Waldo Moment - Alright
White Christmas - One of the top all time for the series
Nosedive - Good. This is the one you felt they were predicting the future.
Playtest - Very good and depressing
Shut Up and Dance - Good and pretty much spawned an entire new version of phishing. Move over Nigerian Prince, they have video of me wanking
San Junipero - Great - A rare happy ending
Men Against Fire - Real good
Hated in the Nation - Good and one of those, this could be a real life thing.
USS Callister - Great and probably #1 on many people's list
Arkangel - Good and depressing
Crocodile - Real good
Hang the DJ - Real good, not so sad
Metalhead - OK. First one since National Anthem I thought was ugh
Black Museum - Good. It was a good episode with Black Mirror world building. It painted a picture the previous episodes were connected.
Bandersnatch - Unique. Was not really that great, but the choose your own story was interesting.
Striking Vipers - Gay, no other way to describe it
Smithereens - Good with a sad and yet happy ending.
Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too - Ok. Story was good, just needed someone besides Miley Cyrus casted
Joan Is Awful - Great. Seemed like a predictor to what AI is getting too now.
Loch Henry - OK.
Beyond the Sea - Real good. Messed up story line for sure.
Mazey Day - OK. Just felt like a horror movie plotline from the 70s
Demon 79 - Good. Like Mazey Day, more of a horror movie and not what Black Mirror was founded on.
The last season, they really went too much simple "horror" and less "tech".

Looks pretty good. I'm a huge fan of Peter Capaldi and that Black Mirror universe is kinda made for him.
(I'd love to see Charlie Brooker take a run at Doctor Who. Even for just an episode.)

In addition to Callister, there is one good one in each season. The rest were bad to average.

Nosedive and White Christmas were by far my favorites. Hated in the nation almost could have been a movie. Play test was pretty trippy.

I love Black Mirror they have done very well with people expecting something crazy to happen and then still being able to deliver and surprise people.

As much as I love USS Callister, I wish they wouldn't do sequels or continuations. One thing so great about BM is its anthology aspect.

Anytime I see Jesse Plemons in anything now I immediately think of him as the weirdo captain of the USS Callister. My mind has typecasted the poor guy for good. He’s a fine actor and I guess he just played that role too well. It’s definitely the role though.

I have Eulogy as my most anticipated followed by Callister. Common People seemed like it would be closest to the style of the first seasons.

Will Poulter's character from Bandersnatch is coming back apparently, which is good.
Something weird/different about Poulter that I like as an actor, sort of similar to Jesse Plemons.

See, the first thing I saw him in was Friday Night Lights, where he played a very likeable, slightly dumb and goofy high school student. So he's typecast in the opposite direction.

dang some of those look awesome. I really hope BM can return to form a bit. Season 4 was the last really good season they had. Last season sucked arse.
