We have heard for weeks that the season picks up starting with episode 4, so that wasn’t a surprise, but it felt like even the directing and cinematography was different tonight. It’s like a whole new show

I tried to watch the first episode, and my mind glazed over like last year. Too much political drama. I know Frank Miller's run had a decent amount of that, but it seemed to work in the comic. Here, we have these characters of DD and Bullseye, and they manage to still make the show slow. I also am disappointed that Dex hasn't been in the comic costume yet- it should be incredibly easy to pull off- not sure why they won't commit to it. It's very yang to DD's yin.

oh yes it certainly did, that whole episode was intense! More bullseye please. That ending, man. Fisk is going to go nuclear now. The second half of the season is gonna be so much better.

I've never watched a single daredevil episode. I know there was a WB series or whatever it was on. Do i NEED to watch that prior to watching this? Also, i've watched season 1 of Punisher but not season 2.
Is there any more backstory that i need? I plan to finish punisher then go into daredevil born again unless i need to watch the other daredevil series.

NEED? Probably not, but you're shorting yourself. S1 and S2 of Daredevil are peak Marvel, along with S1 of Jessica Jones and Punisher.

The only Daredevil series you need to watch is the original Netflix one. The D+ crap doesn't hold a candle to any of the Netflix Marvel shows.

S3 of DD was my favorite. Bullseye origin story and the office fight scene were the best parts. Bringing Bethel back was the second best decision they made for this show. Firing the first writers a clear #1.
A lot of complaints about Matt not suiting up enough. I’m over here wondering when he will go back to work. I like the court scenes almost as much as the fight scenes.
