1080P Remastered Seasons
it appears that all 233 episodes are there. if you're not aware, the only season available to buy is season 1. all of the following seasons are in a "vault" due to the copyright issues with the music used in those seasons. something similar to The Murphy Brown Show.
also, if you're in an area where you have RewindTV, they show reruns every night/week.

Probably my first off beat sitcom I started watching by myself in JH and HS. This and SportsNight were a great combo.

Same situation Northern Exposure has fallen into.

Lotta 80s and 90s series in that boat.
Either you end up getting all the songs stripped out or you have to pay out the arse for it.
I really want the full run of Wiseguy but the arc that got me into it, Dead Dog Records, is such a rights nightmare that it typically gets skipped.

Been a fan ever since.

Wasn't a bad show from what I remember, but the insistent laughing from audience or (sounds track) to remind you that you need to be laughing (when you find nothing they say remotely funny) makes these shows tough to rewatch.

This show went all the way through the mid 2000’s. ABC ended up with a season that they didn’t want to air so they burned it off in the Summer of 2004.
It had been in syndication for five years and Carey had moved on to hosting Who’s Line and other things and most viewers had no idea the show was still a prime time series.
The series finale aired with no promotion.

Pretty certain both shoes were running at the same time. Mimi appeared in a season one episode.

The shows were running concurrently but, by the end, The Drew Carey Show was effectively in Witness Protection because it had been moved around so much you couldn’t find it.
Didn’t help, IMHO, that the network demanded they update the setting from the employer being the Winfred-Louder department store to some type of website which still had all the same employees.

The pilot episode is basically just setups for Drew Carey stand up bits.
It's quite bizarre actually. It's like he was in a completely different show than everyone else early on.
Carey was always the least interesting character in the show, and let everyone else around him get the shine. Diedrich Bader and Ryan Stiles made that show.
It also seemed like it was a hit very early out of the gate. Everyone knew who Mimi was.

This is one of those shows where I see something that reminds me of it and I start looking everywhere and can't find it

Weird they wouldn't just replace the music, like they did in a few episodes of Cheers i.e. The Monster Mash and Righteous Brothers stuff.

Loved her back in the day. Just did an image search, and found a picture of her at a Vanity Fair Oscar party with her daughter, Charlotte Lawrence. Worth a look. I can't post it here cuz nips.

so, i've been binge watching this show and never realized just how many celebrities it had that went on to bigger opportunities.
Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh were in an episode.
Kate Walsh (Grey's Anatomy / 13 Reasons Why)
Joe Walsh (The Eagles guitarist) got a few episodes when Drew was in the Ramada Inn band
some special guests:
Norm Macdonald
Triple H
David Cross
Penn and Teller have had recurring characters as Winfred-Louder's lawyers
there's really too many special guests to even mention and i'm on season 4 right now.
the Full Monty episode had some of it's cast members in the audience when they're at the bar. they didn't have any lines, but the camera does pan to them for a second. It's actually one of the better episodes.
