What a lineup
Never really watched mad about you or LA Law but Wings, Seinfeld and Frasier are 3 of my favorite shows.

same here to all the above.
Also can you imagine that lineup existing today? 26 people featured on the show posters and every single one of them white. Aint no way that'd fly today.

And Friends was right around the corner.

That network basically had three tent pole shows at any year on that night until probably the early 2000s.
7 was Cheers, Mad About You, Friends, etc.
8 was Seinfeld or Frazier.
9 was LA Law or ER.
SNL used to joke about a new show called Test Pattern being premiered between Friends and Seinfeld and getting a massive rating.

I think at one point in the mid 2000s, they had The Office, Scrubs, and 30 Rock on the same night also.

Blair Underwood would get face time by being the main black cast member of LA Law.
Jimmy Smits is half Hispanic (Puerto Rican) though so not as lily white as you thought.

There was a time where I think they had Community, Parks and Rec, the Office, and 30 Rock. Around 2010-12 or so.
Huge hits, all great shows, and certainly enough diversity that it would prevent outcry from all but the most performative circles.

I listen to old series during the day at work. Right now I'm listening to Frasier and loving every minute of it.

Oh shite that’s Dr. Owens?

Before Friends, Mad About You was probably NBCs second biggest show on the network.
It may have even been out drawing Seinfeld at that time, yet now, it's basically vanished from existence.
It's one of the crazier diapering acts for such a gigantic show I can ever remember.
