A battle of (arguably) the two more evil characters in the Sopranos. They were both great and hilarious in their own ways.

Which one was the worst - from a humanity standpoint? Which one did you like better? Which one did you find more entertaining?

I hated Ralphie cuz he was a weasel and I hate weasels.

Richie was a POS but at least he a man.

Hated them both. A lot. I think Aprile was more annoying.

I may have to rewatch to determine which was more evil. Maybe Ralph.

Ralph was probably more entertaining. I can’t think of a scene where Richie didn’t irk me with his pouting.

But I found them both less annoying than Janice and AJ.

That's a whole different level. I didn't find them - nor Livia Soprano entertaining.

I enjoyed/laughed at Richie and Ralphie.

Ralph was way worse. He was constantly high, killed his pregnant girlfriend, killed a horse for insurance money, and liked a cheese grater raked across his balls and to be treated like a whore by Janice.

Richie was just a pissed off guy that felt always sleighted by Tony. I remember him fricking up Beansie badly, but he never did any other depraved shite like Ralph.

I thought Paulie was worse than either of them as far as being evil. But he was probably my favorite character.

Ralph was more evil. Richie was the old school a$$hole.

I need to rewatch the Soprano's again. The great thing about a re-watch, i can fast forward through the Olivia and Dr. Melfi scenes that seemed to get worse as the series went on.

Ralphie was worse. He was just a completely sociopathic a-hole. Killing Tracy the Whooah, blinding Georgie(was that his name?) the idiot bouncer, killing the horse ... the list goes on.

Richie was also a sociopath, just like almost every other character on the series, but he knew how to show respect and generally abided by the "rules" of his organization. He gave Tony the ugly, out of style leather jacket in a sincere show of respect. Tony gave it the Polish maid's husband because he was the biggest a-hole.

Richie was a hardass and went too far when he crippled Beansie. But he redeemed himself when he punched out Janice. God knows that bitch had it coming.

Yes. I do that too. I absolutely hate those scenes after 4 times through the series.

I haven’t seen the Sopranos in years, but I thought Tony was just speculating about Ralph killing the horse. We never actually saw him do it.

This. I don't know if David Proval was just playing him that way or if I just don't like David Proval, but the way he talked and moved in slow motion irked the shite out of me

His admission is what sent Tony over the edge that fateful afternoon at Ralphie’s house.

Eta: and Ralphie was the worst. He was just a sick son of a bitch.

Ralphie was tremendously entertaining. One of the best characters on the show.

I would go with Richie, who was a cold blooded killer and mean fricker who crippled a guy for not paying him off after Richie’s parole.

Ralph was a self centered a-hole and troll whose biggest sin was killing his pregnant goomah which, while tragic, was at least over quickly compared to crippling a guy and leaving him for dead.

Ralphie definitely killed the horse, people forget not only did Tony hijack the horse but he also stole Ralphie's girlfriend.
