Something I learned about Rocky 3 today

Carl Weathers said in an interview that Rocky 3 was his favorite movie in the whole franchise. Claims that it humanized his character.

I guess he gets to be a "good guy" in III, but it's not like Apollo was ever some evil character. With how little we know about him, Apollo Creed is one of the best movie characters to discuss.

I heard something funny the other day about the Rocky franchise
in the first one, someone tells Rocky to take Adrian to the zoo, because, "I hear retards love the zoo"
scene where dude calls adrian a retard
he's offended by that comment, and wants to fight the guy.
but I guess he got to know her a little better, because at the beginning of Rocky 2 he took her to the zoo. pretty easy to infer that Rocky, having gotten to know Adrian more personally throughout the first film, discovered that she actually was, in fact, a retard.

Although Rocky is obviously the best film in tbw franchise. It really can't be argued from a pure cinema standpoitn
The damn thing win best picture in 1976 a year that featured Taxi Driver, Network, and All the presidentsen as its competition... fricking insane.
But if your going to pick another one for just pure, lean mean entertainment, it's Rocky 3.
Weathers is right, it's the movie that took Creed from a movie figure to an actual character. It also had the best pure villain opponent in Lang and didn't get too overly cartoonist like Rocky 4.
Everytime I see Rocky 3 on, I watch the whole thing. The opening is also incredible 80s stuff.
It's fun and expanded the series. It should be ranked 2nd in the all time Rocky universe.

It was pretty meh. Rocky and Creed themselves were probably the worst part and they just took a 1/3rd for Rocky 2, 1/3rd from Rocky 3, and 1/3rd from Rocky 4 to make a movie.
