With the Roast of Tom Brady happening Sunday night, is it the best one yet?
It's been a long time since there was one. I remember all the comedy central ones from the late 2000s and 2010s. Which would you say was the best?
This one is tough. So not to be partial to the most recent, I'll say the Larry the Cable Guy roast was the funniest.
Out of all of the others, that was the one that had the most consistent laughter. Greg Giraldo had his best roast set that night. Even randoms like Gary Busey were funny.
What others?

The one that Kathy Griffin hosted and Greg Giraldo opened. I think it was for Joan Rivers.
He said Kathy looked like the rape-baby of Ronald McDonald and Wendy after it had been thrown down a flight of stairs.
Then he called her Tranny Bonaduce, which still is gold.
Then he said she is always sad to look at and gets stitched up ever year, like the AIDS quilt.
I miss Greg Giraldo. Not only was he a savage at these roasts, his jokes were hilarious, original, on-target, and mean. It was almost like he went looking for a fight.

Idk but Mike the situation was hands down the biggest bomb in roast history. I honestly can't even rewatch his set from the second hand embarrassment.

Charlie Sheen was probably my facorite, though I also liked Hasselhoff, Saget, Flavor Flav, and Shatner.
Have not seen most of the post-Sheen ones for a variety of reasons.

On the flip side of Situation, we have Gary Busey who knocked it out of the park so much that Lisa Lampinelli spent part of her set bitching about how much material she had to throw out because Busey didn’t bomb.

I know I’m a prude but many are so f bomb filled I can’t watch them. I can handle some of it but not an overload of it. The old Dean Martin ones were classic. The Jerry Stiller Friars roast is really good.

The Situation's awful set made Anthony Jeselnik's so much better.

His set at the Bob Hope roast is legendary.

And he was probably the smartest guy in the room. My absolute favorite roaster

He had the best set every time he was on. Guy was legit smart and it showed in his jokes.

Greg Giraldo

Not sure which one was the best but this one roast has to be one of the best

Best one ever is when Greg Giraldo told Flava Flav he looks like a skeleton wrapped in electrical tape.

Dean's roasts were indeed great.
I really enjoy Ruth Buzzi and Rich Little on them.
