Update on Halo TV series: Master Chief is a main character

Any of my fellow nerds really excited about this? Rumors of a Halo movie have been going on for a decade with nothing. Microsoft was apparently extremely difficult to come to an agreement with because of the money it could potentially make. I guess this is the next best thing if they can get it right without ruining a major IP.

If it has Master Chief in it, they better get him right. An absolutely iconic character in the world of gaming. As far as I'm concerned the Xbox will always attribute its success to that character.

If he's in it, they should just get someone to do the stunts and have the original MC voice in it, like JEJ with Vader. It's an iconic voice.

Forward until dawn was pretty good when it came out. I think they could do it.

Absolutely. It would be such a blunder to try to tackle and ruin that mystique.
And yup. You need to keep the original voice. It's too distinct and associated with the character.

They show his face at the very end of one of the last two games.
At the very least, they need to get someone to match that exact description. I'd be pretty mad if they actually showed his face at all, honestly.

Honestly I never played 5. 4 came out right as I got to college and I just don't really play video games anymore especially now that I'm graduated. Just don't have the desire to. By the time 5 came out I had never reinvested in an Xbox One so I just never got it. Although I can't imagine 5 is anywhere close to as good as the original trilogy. 4 was basically propped up by nostalgia as it is.

Now this I can get behind IF they do it right. I think there was a YouTube series out that did pretty damn good job.

Wow. I had no idea it would be the masterpiece of the series. I'll make sure to go pick up an Xbox one and copy of the game tonight on that recommendation.

I would agree, but Forward Unto Dawn gives me hope that people have a good idea on a good transition to a live action show.
