Pretty funny that Dysons number one fan is M.I.A.

With great desirable franchises or franchises (Hawks) that will benefit from our reckless stupidity, yes they can turn quick.

We are not a destination franchise, we’re a development franchise so any quick turnaround is short lived because if we stumble onto on elite player (CP3 and AD the obvious examples) they end up wanting out because the owner sucks or the city living conditions.

Give it up, I get you’re happy just to have the Pels “be in the NBA club” but any real goals beyond the once a decade play-in or 7 seed is not realistic.

Sorry to disappoint, been at the beach the last week and haven’t watched. I saw a video of the fight, but not sure what you and shel are celebrating. Everyone knew the knicks were winning this series.

They had people saying they had 8 of the 10 best players on the court. They got the doors blown off them, DD played 15 mins, and they didn’t really close the gap much figuring the other team put it on cruise the 2nd half with him out.

CJ shot 30% the last two games and less than 20% from 3 but we blaming DD lol? What good is he, bc he’s not in the game for his defense.

Wake me up when the Pels get back to the playoffs, b/c it’s not happening next year, it’s been what almost a decade since they won a series and half a decade since they accomplished what the Hawks just did with Dyson starting…..

We know you dont watch the games.

Affirmation of Dysons defense not being enough to overcome his very limited offensive skills. He got cooked by Brunson the entire series.

CJ is one of the only reasons they won two games. That and dyson sitting the bench.

This entire series has been a big L for you. Not surprising.

Please quote me where I said the Hawks would win the series? Please quote me where I said DD would play great in the playoffs or his current game would translate to playoff basketball. Knicks were a bad matchup for them. I’m suprised they even pulled out two games.

I just pointed out that he had the highest +/- of all starters in most of the playoffs games of the series. Which is true. He had one good game offensively that you of course downplayed to not meaning much implying it happened in garbage time but majority of it occurred in the first half when that game was in doubt.

He started and averaged over 30 mins of a playoff series which you and many others said would never happen. Or he did before being ejected anyway. He helped lead the team to the playoffs while no one on this board watched Pels playoff basketball. And it will most certainly be the same next year. So who really took the L?

If you want to see huge Ls I can go bump the Herb vs DD thread again, or the Dyson trade thread again. Those contain the huge Ls.

Not sure what kinda gotcha this is, Brunson has been the 2nd best pg in the nba the last few seasons. Carried the Mavs by himself to the WCF one year. Not like the Hawks have anyone else on the roster that could guard him. You think Herb would slow him down lol?

The one elite skill that dyson has does not matter when it comes to the playoffs, he is on a bad contract for this very reason. He is a guard that isnt a scorer. Can he be efficient? Sure, but he cannot and does not affect the game offensively.

He was the tenth highest paid Hawk this year while he started and helped his team to the playoffs.

That’s tremendous value. Tenth highest paid player usually doesnt even get off the bench in the playoffs. You saying he’s on a bad contract when it didn’t even start yet is bs. Let’s see if he improves next year after he’s getting paid. Then feel free to come talk shite.

It’s fricking hilarious we see these threads and you and Shel jerking each other off over the 10th highest paid Hawk while CJ the playoff vet who is also currently the highest paid Hawk just put up back to back games of shooting 30% and 16% from 3 in a tied series. In your words, the one thing he is suppose to do is offense but muh Dyson Dyson Dyson….

No shite Sherlock. I never argued he did. But he sure as shite scored more than Herb this year and there was a huge gap in fg% between the two. You still have to have guys play defense in the playoffs.

Wait, you've been simping for DD all year long, and you don't even think his game would translate to playoff basketball? You've literally been riding this guys dick all year and constantly bring up how others said he couldn't be played in the playoffs and now you're saying he does not have the game that translate to the playoffs? Wtf

He's still yet to concede that Dyson had a bad series and has instead argued that Dyson was awesome in the series.

His game can translate to playoff basketball. He’s probably the best rebounding wing in the league already and one of the best on ball defenders in the league. That kinda player should always be starting. And he can drive and finish around the rim. But if they leave you open and sag off of you, you have to make them pay from 3. That’s where he struggled this year. He did improve the last 30 games or so shooting close to 30%. So if he gets to at least 36% or so, they will guard him or at least show him attention.

Like I said a few times, I dont start these threads, I just point out how stupid the past posters comments look and keep reminding them, and that’s why we see 9 pages of this.

DD was the youngest guy on the court for both teams if I’m not mistaken, getting his first taste of playoff ball. But we get threads like this calling him out. CJ was on our team more recently, not one thread how he choked the last two games….

It has not translated. Opposing teams can play 5 on 4 when dyson is on the court.

Let’s also check in on Julius Randle.

Letting him walk to draft Zion . . . bit of a boo boo in retrospect.
