Which goes back to Willie being the symptom of the problem and not the problem and why making the playoffs gets us just as close to making the final in the future than not making the playoffs does. Fact of the matter is, we've always been one of the worst run franchises since NOLA got the team to the point where this current ownership is, by far, the most stable ownership the franchise has had compared to the previous ones... yet it's still holding the franchise back.

I honestly if we secured the 4 or 5 seed its a different discussion. Heck if we got 6 seed, Zion is healthy and we won who knows. At best we’re a 8 seed without our best player now. Frankly, Im not a Gayle fan but this isnt really a luxury tax team.

I don’t think making the playoffs or not should change that there needs to be changes in the organization. Problem is if we make the playoffs- they’ll spin it as a successful season and probably run the same shite back. If we miss the playoffs, at least its hard to spin that as success but they’ll probably blame Zions injury on that. I don’t know anymore its just depressing.

while it can be viewed as the final nail in the coffin, so to speak, the Pels should have never been in the fricking coffin in the 1st place...

13 (or more, i lost count) games we lost after leading by 10+ pts, at some point in the game....

0-24 when trailing going into the 4th quarter...

But it’s useless to argue this point right now. We live an immediate gratification generation and society- so people just want playoffs. They want to get excited for something. The reasoning is we need to get young guy playoff minutes because even though our star is hurt the role guys can get better in the playoffs. Which Im not saying wont help- but higher draft pick and pressure to make changes in the organization are frankly more important long term.

You ok?

I never was cheering against them. I just stated what would be better long term. But they’re in so I’m in- doesn’t matter anymore. So yes I’m ok. Thanks for thinking of me so late at night. Its really sweet of you.

I’ll make sure to check up on you 2 weeks from now as well.

14th pick and the 16 or 17th pick isn't much different. If we lose on purpose for the 14th pick, just move the franchise already.

This. The question was silly and OP should feel bad for asking.

I agree. The 14th pick is not something you purposely lose a game for.

Especially with how our coach plays rookies

Actually I watched the draft all day. Even tho I’m usually 90% right about everything on here, I’m more of a football savant.

Hope Willie at least got Hawkins and DD some mins.

And honestly, things would be different if CJ hits that game one shot. After watching game two and looking at the score from today. Seems they have quit.
