An average day..
And I thought it was racist to expect punctuality in a person.

That’s fricked up but I’m all for fining people for being late to shite. We need to bring accountability back to our culture.
I’ve been on this hill for years. It would be one of my top platforms for political office. a-hole fines. Drive slow in the left lane, fine. Late to an appointment, fine. Not know what you want to order after standing in line for 5 minutes, fine

I'd sue the living shite out of that stylist.

Should it work in reverse and get a $25.00 discount if you go on time and have to wait because the person is still working on a color or something from the last customer? I've no problem if they just refuse to serve you if your late and move on to another customer.

Is it normal to pay for your hair styling up front? I've always only ever paid at the end once the service is finished. Never once been charged up front before services were rendered.

I have been assured by the cultural trendsetters of our time that punctuality is an obvious form of racism.
Therefore, the stylist whose income depends on clients being on time is clearly a racist.

Why not just cancel the appointment and charge a cancellation fee for showing up late? That's what most doctors do.

It says in the tweet:
This is clearly not Draft Picks Barbershop in Baton Rouge. It is Draft Picks Barbershop2 in Baton Rouge. They are 2 different businesses, about 11 miles apart.

Guessing that since the tweet says it was an appointment for the girl to get her hair braided, that the stylist probably had a pretty significant amount of time blocked off for this appointment. So if the stylist cancels the appointment, then she's got a big gap in her schedule where she's not making any money now.
So the stylist's choice is to either cancel the appointment and be sitting around the salon for an hour or 2 not making any money...or keep the appointment and inconvenience her other clients who had appointments scheduled after this one.

Thank goodness those men were there to break it up, otherwise all 3 would have ended up cut over 25 bucks.

Should've shot the stylist. She had a weapon and was on the attack. I'm sure a good lawyer could probably make a decent self defense case out of that. Although, I wouldn't advise doing it, but she should have.
Would have been doing the world a favor as well.

Exactly what culture would that be?

This. Her time is money. Respect her time and be an adult who shows up for an appointment on time. Entitled people suck.

Some of our cultures already value punctuality
