Census Single Parent Statistics by Race (2021)

I'm guessing they're lumping Hispanics in with white.
Also, please consider per capita which is the single parent % compared against the percentage of the US population.
60% of the US is white, therefore roughly 60% of single parents being white makes complete sense.

What’s the percentage within each race? There are more white people than others.

Like others, I would like to see what they threw into the "White" category. Seems to be an awful lot of cowbirds out there in today's world.

Not really reflective of the proportional distribution. It tells us the aggregate, but not percentage out of a demographic, where there would actually be something where if we are trying to be analytical.

I'd like to see statics on the race of the deadbeat dads.

Probably correct.
That accounts for 5% of white/Hispanic women and 10% of black women when normalized for population total.

U.S Population by Race (in millions)
2022 White - 251.6 (75.5%) Black - 45.4 (13.6%) Asian - 20.95 (6.3%)
Single Mothers.........61%..........................31%..............................3%
Single Fathers..........73%..........................18%..............................3%
Tells quite the story.
**Yes, Hispanics are counted as White (White, Hispanic and White, Non-Hispanic)
**US Population in 2022 was 333,000,000. The remaining 4.6% is Pacific Islander and multi-racial.

Now do the percentage based on race not overall population.
Percentage of White mothers who are single parents?
Percentage of black mothers who are single parents?
Percentage of Hispanic mothers who are single parents?
Then again...
You could just look at this post on the PT Board

There are more white people so yeah, I would think there are more white mothers and more white single mothers.
But the number of black kids born out of wedlock is a very high percentage compared to all races. Even though other races are gaining too.
Basically, with the invention of the pill and legalized abortion, single motherhood has only increased.

The crazy thing is that in the South, 1 out of 3 single parents are homosexual.

Now, define Latino as a separate category, then calculate single parent units as a percentage of parental units in general.

Hispanics are the largest minority 16-17% in the USA and are not categorized? Once again the government run census is trying to spin data.
