Aren’t Catholics pro choice? I know they aren’t real conservatives like us baptists

Yeah im not gonna post my mother's work here...
The arch diocese is more tainted than any of you will believe. And it all gets swept under the rug by the most of your donations and tuition.

Since the seal of confession cannot be broken in any situation, it is not because of that.
Anyone in Catholic education in the Archdiocese does have to sign a morality clause, and a child out of wedlock would break said clause.
+1
I really doubt a priest broke the seal of confession to fire a guy from a school. And a morality clause is standard for Catholic education. If you don't like it, work somewhere else.

This. The whole priest scandal basically has resulted in a zero tolerance. Obviously there was grievous mistakes with moving predator priests around in the past but using that argument to say someone else who broke the moral code should be saved bc he is doing a good job is also hypocritical. You can’t have it both ways.
And like I said above why he was fired is purely speculation at this point.

It's really unfortunate for him he didn't get caught diddling little kids. He would have just got moved to a different school in that case, possibly even a promotion.
Might’ve made him the Pope, since there’s currently a job opening.

Also, on the seal of confession, a priest cannot even give a penance to go and confess whatever they did. They can advise them to, but cannot give them a penance to do so.

So, it didn’t happen …

Catholic Church is willing to move a bunch of homosexual child molesters around the country and ignore rape only for these same priests to do it all over again but fires this guy?

As long as the kid was being raised well and he was being a good parent, doesn’t the church preach 2nd chances and forgiveness?

Which one of those was that? The Church of Joel Olsteen?

This is really what the Catholic Church is gonna worry about?

Orgies in the rectory? You have to expand.

Did everyone that worked at the school know about it?

How come the same morality clause never applies to the priests? That's the real problem.

Being a catholic and forced to jerk off for life must be miserable.

The ignorance of this board regarding Catholicism is astounding.
