Do you have a "work wife" or "work husband"?

Used to. She brought up the term. Had never heard it before.

Completely platonic.

My previous job I had one who brought me energy drinks in the morning and another who bought me foo foo coffee at lunch. Its not a bad thing.

I think that's too far, but there are certain people in the office that I certainly just connect with more than others and feel more comfortable talking with.

My tolerance for people does not extend far enough to even consider spending time with people.

Work wives are simply prospective homewreckers. Keep far away.

15 years now. We work closely together all day long and are "friends". Interesting dynamic.

ETA: She is younger and gorgeous. ( NO Pics!) Has a great personality and is smart as hell.

Know a guy who has had three work wives over his career .. know he fricked two of them and am pretty sure he did it with the third.

Guess they were performing their full wifely duties.

No. My old boss claimed one of the women was his work wife and every time he would go around her she got very awkward and wanted him to stop.
