What the hell is this?
I got a text message saying my recent journey has netted me a $3.75 bill with a $30 late fee.

My issue with Geaux Pass has been processing. I crossed a few months back and still have not gotten a notice to pay. I had one prior but it would not let me pay the new one.
Their system sucks, you need a Document Number to pay and you need a complex combination of your license plate to pay. I think they do this on purpose to make sure you don’t pay on time and incur late fees.
To collect 5 dollars you would think it would be easier to pay than to give them a short term loan of 25 dollars to cover your crossings as an advance when you use a tag.
GeauxPass should offer an auto debt as your cross. You get the tag, it charges when you cross. None of this lets start with 25 dollars in the account and then setup an auto refill when it gets below 10.

If you go to the website it says it's a scam. I got the same message.
