EADO bout to become NIMBY.
EADO bout to become NIMBY.

The East End location, meanwhile, retains some of the connections often critical for bus travelers. The station is at the end of Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Green Line light rail, and steps from the Magnolia Park Transit Center. A handful of smaller bus carriers, many serving Mexico, operate in the vicinity.

Greyhound has been downsizing terminals all over.
I saw one city where they closed their station and now the greyhound bus stops at a gas station.

I’m not sure how to word this but if i were a liberal journalist, i would say that this is racist.
Bus stations are primarily in black communities.
I have no idea if this is actually true or not but because i can say it affects black communities, it’s gonna cause likes, shares, and comments. That’s what important

I’ve made several trips back and forth to BR on there. Place is crazy and the passengers are even crazier.
One of our buses got raided in Orange, TX. Chick with 3 kids was transporting
got arrested naturally and we went on our way.
Another lady had one of those hazardous materials tubs and she said it has lasers inside to protect the heart she was transporting
She 100% believed her story.

A close friend of mine owns a modest 3 story townhome in EADO that he bought for $250k, it has doubled in value in the past 10 years…that shite is about to plummet.
I can’t think of a quicker way to torpedo property values than building a fricking greyhound bus station
Hahahahahaha

That's already started. Some neighborhood association was up in arms protesting a Metro bus line, claiming it would hurt the historic black & hispanic neighborhoods and cemeteries, etc. The board was ALL white and gay looking.

I’m pretty sure that EADO is about to crater since the plan to relocate I-45 to the east side of downtown next to 59 has overcome all legal challenges. Over the next 15 years we will likely see that part of town be demolished.

I haven’t seen greyhound buses in years. I didn’t know they still existed. They used to be big back in the day.

I just looked up one way trips from Houston to N.O., and you can get Spirit flights cheaper than a Greyhound ride. I bet those are awesome experiences.

Imagine working in there

They dont want to own capital anymore. They'd rather share a terminal with other companies and own the buses.
