Mob Killer and Gemini twin Joey Testa to be released from prison.

He will be released to a halfway house for 30 days or so then basically be a free man. He's served 35 years in prison. He was one half of the Gemini twins with Anthony Senter who was also recently released from prison. They were part of the infamous Murder Machine crew under Roy DeMeo then later moved to the Luchesse family where they were both made as full members of the mafia. Both Senter and Testa are rare birds who have never given interviews or turned informant. I imagine both will be offered huge money for book deals and interviews.

Can they talk now?
What were they charged with? If they got charged for one or two murders and served their time, they can talk about those. But no others. Right?
If they never cooperated then the government will have zero problems charging them again.

If it were me, and I'm not a murderous lunatic, I'd say just up to what someone was willing to pay for without incriminating myself or someone wanting to wack me over it.

They were convicted of several murders although there is dispute about some of the ones they had pinned on them. They both were clearly murders and also took part in dismembering bodies in the gemini lounge with DeMeo. I highly doubt either of them will talk now even about the crimes they served time for. They seem to be omerta to the end. Everyone is saying Senter was an extremely changed person and model. Prisoner but haven't heard much about Testa.

They were ruthless in their heyday. I wonder if they're gonna jump back in the game or if they're past all that shite now. Alot of former high profile mafia members make money via youtube. Sammy Gravano, Joey Merlino, Michael Franzese.

When Sammy “The Bull” Gravano went into witness protection he ended up living next door to a guy who knew who he was. Neighbor was not happy about it.

Great book based almost entirely on the insights from Dominic Montiglio who was the nephew of Nino Gaggi who was a captain in the Gambino family and DeMeo's boss.
There is a guy on youtube named Quentin Walker who has done a deep dive research project on the DeMeo crew and created a 14 part documentary that's really good. He's also working on a 400 page book right now and he says there is a lot that the Murder Machine book got wrong. Will be interesting to read when it comes out.

You can go to Dorignac’s this weekend, meet him, and try some of his wine.

That’s why I am surprised it was not life. Were they paroled? Or was the sentence 35? If they stayed quiet all that time like Sonny Franzese I’d bet they go back in some shape or form. Why not? They’re old now. Doubt they’ll be chopping people up anymore. Maybe a consultant when someone’s “gotta go”. They could point and direct. But they are 35 years behind the times.
But if there is anything that they can still talk about and get themselves back inside? Why risk it? Gravano talks but he served his time for everything he did. Franzese talks but he seems very sharp and knows when to stop. He knows what he can speak to and what he can’t. Everybody asks him about hits and he’s not dumb enough to bite.
Many of these mob guys have podcasts now. I am waiting for the first one to get his arse in a crack and incriminate himself.

f these illegals. Its amazing to me that you people glorify these border jumpers. Most of these dirty bastards, including Marcello, were illegal aliens. But its cool cuz they from europe. who fricking cares about this clown.

Large cities could use a resurgence of the mob. I am shocked it has not happened yet. I suspect many neighborhoods would pay a premium for their protection and it would clean up a lot of problems.

The Italian mafia in America? You know the old guys all came over around the time of Ellis island and mass immigration. They took pride it seems in being Americans. Also in being ruthless criminals too. Maybe some of these Gemini Lounge guys came over illegally? I’d bet most were born to Italian immigrants. I’m sure some weren’t even members. They just worked for the mob.
Glorified =\= fascinated to me.
If you loved the Godfather movies and Goodfellas you are easily entertained by real guys telling real stories. Even when they paint themselves in better light.
I do believe that their violence was self contained. If you weren’t a member or involved criminally with members in some way you were left alone. I’m sure frick ups can be pointed out through history.

Never had a problem with Italian trash killing other Italian trash.
35 years seems pretty steep.

Are you kidding me right now immigrants built this country especially those immigrants the immigrants now are much different than the immigrants back then the immigrants back then worked very hard you're probably a byproduct of one of those immigrants you think you were born where you stay right now you sound like one of those ignorant KKK members frick yourself three times and come back and see if it knocks some sense into you fricking moron

Mike Franzese has said Testa and Senter were basically serial killers who got so addicted to killing they were doing it for sport towards the end and killing guys over nothing essentially.

New Orleans would be cleaned up before lunch if the mob was heavily present.
