OT Balla = 2 gym memberships. That city club membership is pretty steep no?

Here are my main questions about Red's...

1) How many guys who work out there are named Jimmy or Ronnie?

2) Do you hear DJ Trashy blaring through the headphones of some of the members?

3) ARe there tanning beds on site or hilighter machines on site? What's the secret to a great tan, barbed wire tats, and Pauly D tips?

I know you're probably trolling and this has probably already been mentioned, but I freeze my arse off every time I'm in Red's.

i think it's comparable to Red's monthly, just the sign up fees is more. My wife pays bills so I'm guessing.

A good power cage with a max of 2" spacing will allow you to get full motion and allow the bar to sit on your chest, but still allow you to getbout from under it by allowing you to roll the bar over your neck then slode out.

Westside barbell spacing on the rack helps this.

Janky, real ot ballers build a seperate shop to do a garage gym or they have a big garage. I have a 3 car, wife parks in and the other two bays are the gym. I park in the driveway outaide the third bay.

Why the frick would i park in the yard?

How are the tennis courts at Reds these days? How do they compare to other clubs?

The only down side I've seen is old men's balls swinging around the locker room.

My wife says it's just as bad in the women's room with all the grey-haired bushes hanging out.

Yeah when I was a member there, I tried to stay out of the locker rooms and sauna as much as possible. The old folks there just let em hang, and it's really just disgusting. I know its a locker room, but cmon man, cover that shite up.

I like the set up at reds and my wife loves that max intensity training room but I'll stick with City club and oakbourne. I just can't stand most of the people and the crowds. I really think the majority of people there are juiced up meatheads. I'll still go play tennis on the indoor courts and workout if I go before work.

I used crossfit to illustrate a change in what gyms have become and it is relevant to the discussion of reds. Red even built an addition to his gym to emulate a crossfit gym and called it "maximum intensity training" or something. It is used primarily for group training "boot camps"

Once you've battled the Chicoms around the Chosin Reservoir, you give zero fricks about anything.

I'll speak for all the over 50 men trying to stay in decent shape:

Go to Red's early or after 6:00 pm. Find the workout area that is meathead free. Use very nice clean equipment. Stop by the snack bar for a protein shake or a salad. Avoid hanging balls in the dressing room (why the need to change anyway). Go home. Repeat 3-5 times/week

Its not that complicated. And if you're saying Red's is not 1st class.....you're a douche trying way too hard.
