Interesting article on tradwives and how women are realizing that the lifestyle of not working outside the home (being a stay-at-home wife) is actually attractive.

LINK

Another interesting tidbit mentioned in the article was the female happiness paradox:

"Regardless of how to interpret the data, the facts of the matter remain that women are either miserable but happy or happy but miserable. And if scientific researchers can’t figure out what to do about this paradox, can 20-year-old women?"

We've all heard that if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. But it also seems that if momma ain't unhappy, then momma ain't happy.

Making women happy is easy.

So I’ve heard.

This kind of babbling nonsense is something a woman would say.

There are three secrets to relationships. They are....

It’s almost like feminism sold them a bunch of lies.

One of the huge reasons i have been single for 7 years after my divorce and have desire to ever get married again is the stupid arse idea happy wife, happy life.

That is such BS.

I’m not jumping through hoops to make some woman happy because she wants to be pissy and over emotional.

I would gladly stay single than deal with that BS

Feminism did not sell them lies; it gave them options. Many are choosing bad options. The chauvinists among us try to gloat and feel superior, but look at our (men’s) records. These boards are filled with men who are angry or depressed even though they are living in the greatest place and era of opportunity and wealth in the history of the world.

Many men I know gamble too much, drink too much, spend their time watching porn or playing video games - anything to distract them from lives that are unfulfilling. Bad life-choices are not unique to women.

The bad life choice was who they married.

Angry because we said we can't go on a trip to 30A every year? Should your pre-teens have phones? Should they go to bed before 9PM on a school night?

Yeah, downvote me again, a-hole. Some men deal with this stupidity through compensatory mechanisms. I will admit though, that the gamblers seem like they're gonna gamble no matter what.

It sold them outright lies. Lies that they didn't need men. That motherhood and homemaking were lives of slavery and unworthy of them. Lies that they could have it all, when no one can have it all.

Could it be that there’s just a link between estrogen and depression?

Most feminine gay guys I know also have crippling depression issues.

Pre-internet feminsim was real feminsim. Empowering the individual.

The following waves of feminism are collective, trap women in needy tribes.

Feminism did indeed sell them lies. Many lies, because it was hijacked by literal political activists, not individuals.

Men generally want to be happy first and foremost. I don't know if the same is necessarily true of women. I'm not saying they don't want to be happy but that their happiness is a byproduct of what they really want instead of being their direct target. Their direct target is to be seen as valuable in the eyes of their competitors.

If you tell them they're valuable they'll smell it out and reject it. This is simping. They want to feel like they're earning it the hard way. Women don't like to be cheated out of the journey. That's their favorite part.

Misery loves company, if she wants to act like a bitch I'll be an arse.

Life and marriage are much too short to kiss someone's arse (figuratively) and that goes for either spouse.

Recently was in Thailand.
All the women at work etc seemed so pleasant. Happy.

I've heard same for eastern Europe, south America.

I really think Western culture is super toxic to women.

My SIL doesn’t work and her husband holds it over her head all of the time. They want her to get a job, but she doesn’t have a college degree. She got a job working in the front desk at her gym and he’s been a total a-hole about “she only has a job and not a career.”

She literally has no idea about their wills, how much one they have in savings, where they bank, 401(k) account details…. anything and everything related to finance she’s completely excluded from

So…. LLotOT. Be careful what you sign up for
