YETI coolers are washing up on Alaska beaches

Consumer goods from coolers to bike helmets have been washing up on beaches on the Gulf of Alaska, at least a 1,200-mile journey from Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, where a cargo ship spilled 109 shipping containers in October.
Plastic trash washing up from far away has long been an eyesore and an ecological menace on Alaska’s otherwise pristine wilderness beaches.
But some high-value debris, apparently spilled by the Zim Kingston, a cargo ship en route from Busan, South Korea, to Vancouver, Canada, has Alaskan beachcombers cheering.

I hope old boy doesn’t open one up and find a couple decapitated heads.

That would badass if you were on one of the survival shows like Alone and a Yeti cooler and/or other goods washed up on your coast

9 times out of 10 its probably never a good idea to open a random chest that was floating around in the ocean

I hope he got the Yeti sticker, a Salt Life sticker, Tammy's tankini top, and 24 cans of Coors Light.

Reminded me of a friend of my roommate. His friends family owned several truck stops (the big ones not a 7-11). Every time he would come back to campus after a trip home he would bring 4-5 giant spools of (new\unused) condoms. They were what go the the machines in the restrooms.
Each spool had probably 150 condoms. Dude would just peel off a couple dozen and hand out to people.

Some company could take those and raffle them off again.

Shelby Stanga should move to Alaska and snatch beach wood for dollars.

Nothing cool like that ever happens to me.
Haven’t found a bag of money or floating drugs, or free yeti coolers
