Palmetto State Armory AR-15 rifle triggers: How good/bad are they?

About to order one of their rifles, should I go ahead and order a Timney trigger as well?

Im sure they're serviceable, but i changed out the triggers in my 2 PSA lowers. One Timney and one RISE.

Which do you like better?
I have a Timney on my Colt rifle and really like it.

I have one of their rifles with their EPT trigger in it. It’s been great. I thought I might change it out, but it’s smooth, relatively light (for a duty trigger), and breaks cleanly with a short enough reset. So I have left it.

They are decent. I usually use LaRue Tactical MBT-2S. I prefer them to anything else.

The mil spec triggers are going to be heavy with lots of creep. They improve over time or you could polish yourself. I wouldn’t spend the $100 on their match grade. The Larue MBT is much better for around the same price.

The Sabre-10 has the Sabre Claw 2-stage trigger (I have one) and it’s very comparable to the LaRue MBT.

Same here. They are an incredible value.

Plenty good for what they are intended for.

The "psa" is just a Schmid 2-stage. Those are actually pretty decent, but the LaRue is better.
You could also wait until Black Friday and get the SSA-E for $149.

I like the Ruger Elite 452.

I'm a big fan of the Larue MBT 2s also, but I have a polished PSA on one of my rifles and it's not terrible for the 30 or 40 bucks it cost.

PSA AK-47 with ALG…light as a skeeter hair and routinely shoots 3 round bursts.

I have a PSA 16" AR. The stock trigger isn't going to win any awards, but it's good enough. It's an AR, though. The trigger simply needs to function properly and some-what smoothly.
Also, it's better than a Glock trigger.....so there's that!

The enhanced polish trigger are to me some of the best mil spec non cartridge triggers.

Interesting. I didn’t know this.

Mine has some kind of upgraded single stage in it which i don't like. I wish it had the normal 2 stage.

I am not a fan of these light two stage triggers on AR15's, something like the ALG QMS or ACT trigger are what I like most in these types of firearms. I have had them all, I would get demo triggers from all the brands, we were were a guys lee and ALG distributor and all my personal ones got the ALG's.
Those other triggers are super nice, Larue, CMC, GUYS LEE all had nice crisp triggers, I just prefer a nice crisp milspec design.
