I said basically the same thing. Its a dog, its their property they can dispose of it as they see fit - within reason. A quick, clean death from a gun shot is fine in my book.

The "furbaby" epidemic has gotten out of control in the past decade. Even this board is apparently ate up with it.
If a working dog won't work, you get rid of it. Usually on a farm that doesn't mean "neutering it and finding it a loving home"
It means a bullet and those expenses of a dog can be then used on one that earns its keep.
I guess people realize that if a dog's life is "spared", then it will need to be fed by killing other animals for as long as the life of the "saved" dog?
Soft times make for soft people.
