Part of the toolkit includes a list of ways "white supremacy culture" allegedly "infiltrates math classrooms." Those include "the focus is on getting the 'right' answer," students being "required to 'show their work,'" and other alleged manifestations.

People have too much free time on their hands to worry about this kind of stuff.

Why even learn math? Just cancel math. It effects BIPOC negatively and should be eliminated. I hope they remove math entirely. Please remove all science and mathematics courses.

So when homely, patchouli oil teacher teaches her class non-existent forms of math and the can't get through the simplest things in life, or college or get a job....then what?

Last time someone tried to undo racism in math, they got fired for giving out a set of word problems that were called racist.
They were just trying to describe math in terms their students would understand.

Stupid whites supremacist maths worried about the right answer. What if I can make dope bars about the math problem?

Wait... not the bee?

Instead of focusing on one right answer, the toolkit encourages teachers to "come up with at least two answers that might solve this problem."

What’s 2 + 2? Thomas Jefferson, sucka!

So getting the wrong answer is acceptable? In engineering if you do your math wrong you may kill someone. Remember the Mars probe that failed due to a math error? It is extremely important to get it right and show how you derived your answer and the assumptions you made. This isn't "white" it is simply logical. Mathematics knows no race or culture.
What these people are doing will wreck our economy and destroy our credibility around the world.

It a way this is kind of good. This ensures more poor people and the slave class. Someone has to do the jobs we don't want to do.

That’s what I love about math.
There’s no one right answer.

They should teach math the way it was taught on The Wire.

If the janitor is too dumb to know “one part water to one part bleach”, I don’t want to hire them.
At best I would give them an enclosed area to practice in to get it right.

Newton was straight up racist.
And being bad at math does not equate to racism.

It also encourages teachers to "center ethnomathematics," which includes a variety of guidelines. One of them instructs educators to "identify and challenge the ways that math is used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views."
What happens when I have to drive over a bridge designed by an "engineer" whose mathematical education was "upheld" by this nonsense?
