To answer your question, I think the right’s obsession with trying to call out every instance of perceived hypocrisy is just a distraction at this point. I’ve done it too much for the past ten years myself. Everybody is aware of it now, so when the right does the same thing (like acting like this statement from Biden is a huge deal) all we’ve done is turn off the independents who are tired of woke nonsense, and were maybe considering the other side.
Calling out really big hypocrisy and manipulation is important and does need to be dealt with. Facebook and other social media giants are hypocrites that do sway elections most likely and their power and lies need to be dealt with.
Acting like Biden is racist for saying someone is a good ole boy from Louisiana is not the same thing, and turns a lot of people in the middle off.

someone needs to post all of Bidens racist quotes over the past years.... that might get bodask42's attention. Having that kind of context, would let you know it was not just a slip of the tongue from Biden..... he did try to correct himself and mumbled "man" after boy.... but by then it was too late and he had revealed his true self.

I agree that the constant blind Spy vs Spy nonsense gets us nowhere, but I don't think me asking that qualifies as such. I think it's important to challenge that narrative. I agree that it has to be done reasonably or it falls upon deaf ears.
