They would have a lot of trouble writing him out considering that not only is he a series regular but half of last season's storyline involved him and his future wife.

Over the last couple of years CW has worked hard to position themselves as the older teen SJW channel. He's definitely going to have to go on an apology tour, he may even have to cry during an interview.
