“Michael Waltz has learned a lesson, and he’s a good man,” Trump told NBC News in a phone call when asked if he still had confidence in his top national security aide.
Asked how Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor in chief of The Atlantic, came to be included in a text thread that included Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Trump blamed a lower-level staffer.
“It was one of Michael’s people on the phone."

OMG, the obvious explanation was true.

I was sure it was one of those H1Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees that we spent all December whining about.

Honestly, they should have been doing this in a more secure manner. They have access to the best communication methods in the world.

I read the whole article. I don't see that the staffer was fired.

Probably because that's not what happened, and no such staffer exists.

They found the mole. But in keeping with national security protocols they don’t reveal anything more. For one the mole may not know. But they don’t want to reveal how they found out. There’s no telling the size of the network involved we’re dealing with here.

There it is folks. An explanation from the man himself. Move along, this is a complete nothingburger. Hegseth will continue to protect our country and liberals will continue to be triggered. All is right in the world

For sure, and they'll handle it.

The Atlantic magazine loves to light their hair on fire. It makes for the best Friday night after work cocktail parties.

How many arrests so far?
Like many of you, I am very comfortable having the WEF, CFR, and the Atlantic Council connected to the National Security Advisor. These low level staffers, however, will have to be dealt with harshly.

So does the deep state who is actively trying to sabotage them at any turn..

You’re still melting, loser? You are more pathetic than SFP and Roger combined.

Maybe its true, maybe it isn't.
Ultimately it doesn't matter. Its the fact that it happened that matters.
Learn a lesson from it, tighten up. Vance more than anyone needs to learn the lesson as he is the presumed heir apparent. Tighten up. I expect they will.

We assume.
Maybe that's not true.
Apparently the Signal app is installed on their government phones so naturally users will believe it is approved and secure.

It’s pathetic. A grown man with no self respect. His favorite hobby is being an insufferable douche on TD. What a life.

It does not sound like it had anything to do with security, it had to do with who they allowed on the call.
Most calls include a note-taker or two, no different than face to face meetings. It sounds like their problem was the note taker leaked the conversation.
