I am a huge Boar's Head fan for my deli meat but I don't think I will ever buy their product ever again

News today said you should always cook your deli meat before eating. I’ve never cooked deli meat. Didn’t know I was supposed to.

Doesn't matter if you buy it. If someone before you buys it and you get that same meat cutting machine you'll likely get sick too.

What’s the point of getting deli meat if you have to cook it first?

That is disgusting, but if hiring illegals is the problem, over half the restaurant industry is in trouble.

I moved away from them in recent years since they just use too many ingredients:

quote:

Turkey Breast, Water, Contains Less Than One And One Half Percent Of Salt, Sugar, Sodium Phosphate And Dextrose, Coated With: Dextrose, Cane Sugar, Paprika, Spices, Onion, Honey, Natural Flavors, Extractives Of Paprika And Turmeric.

Absolute BS.

It’s already cooked whether smoked, roasted or otherwise.

Now granted processed meat is really not the best for you, but the only reason it’s making people sick is their employees aren’t doing what they’re supposed to on the manufacturing side.

Linking this recall to DEI stuff is quite the stretch Revolver seems to be the only place on the internet making this connection.

The problem is that you (and most people) didn’t hear about this while it was actually happening. This happened back at the end of July and everything was recalled by July 29.

It’s just now coming out about the deaths and people being sick.

That's basically all deli meat. It's all highly processed carcinogenic crap.

What a great example of corporate virtue signaling as a subterfuge for doing shady shite.

“We care about ‘migrants’”

“Let’s lower our cost of wages by paying pennies on the dollar to sick brown people”

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the ingredients above actually means it is better than most any other meat you can buy.

I am not saying it is great or ok are anything like that. But, so many meats are worse than that.

They put crap in our food today that is banned in Europe. This is a big reason people are so overweight in the USA.

There's a guy on social media that I follow that shows you step by step how to make deli meat at home.

Migrant and immigrant hiring is different from DEI. And potentially worse. DEI hires are not interested in what is manufacture/line work.

That's why I go for the ones that have one ingredient: the meat - and not from a feedlot, at that.

I know. I was trying to say - even Boar's Head I've moved away from.

There are other options that are single ingredient (or just the spices + the meat).

Everyone says this about Europe, but they are packed with junk food and fatties too. Still, I just can't believe what people casually put into their bodies.

e.g. Hula Hoops are one of the biggest "crisps" products in Germany. Here's the ingredients:

quote:

Potato (Potato Starch & Dried Potato), Sunflower Oil (24%), Rice Flour, Maize Flour, Salt, Potassium Chloride

So, seed oils, cheap start and chemicals.
