Yeah, Donald Trump, college junoir Devin White, and TigerAxeOK are all 6'3" and 245.
I damn sure look absolutely nothing like Devin White in physique, nor do I look like Donald Trump. I'm somewhere in the middle.
Their charts are flawed because when I was 21 I was 6'3" and 185, exactly where they say I'm supposed to be, and I was a fricking twig.

I've been there. The doc said I was on the verge of being obese. I then lost 30 pounds.

Yeah sure, thinner is better for a litany of reasons, but that particular philosophy leaves me wondering - what's your overarching purpose for survival? You got a bet with a buddy to see who lives longer?

its stupid. im 6'1' and the one time i was in the best shape of my life i was at 185 and was trying to win the state time trial championship and i fasted for like 3 days to try & lose a couple extra pounds and i couldn't drop an ounce.
like you i looked gaunt and undernourished but according to the BMI index i was still bordering on the 'overweight' section. never got into the 'normal' range despite training for hours a day and racing every other weekend.
eta i'm well over 200 now but i'm not racing and i can eat like a normal person and enjoy life even with a bit of a dad bod.

No, you should be under 195 to be considered "normal" range of weight. But, it is a reasonably sliding scale. No doc will fuss at a 6'2" 200 pounder as long as it isn't all around the waist.
If you're 6'2", 225 and you're not playing football or hockey for a living? You need to back away from the table, baw.
