Take a trip to Natchez next weekend. Any recommendations to pass the time and dining?

Take the hop on/off bus tour that lasts about an hour (if it's available). It used to run from the Visitor Center, but I see indications it is closed for remodeling. Also, don't hop off or you'll be waiting a while.
Get some Delta style tamales at the Donut Shop.
Tour some of the old mansions. Hit the old city cemetery along the bluff overlooking the river.
Eat and drink at The Camp down under the bluff, and get the Fried Pickles (lightly breaded slices of dill pickles and jalapenos, served with ranch).
Take a drive on The Natchez Trace and stop at some of the historic sites along the way.

See plantation home after plantation home until you get plantation homed out.

Breakfast at the Natchez Coffee Company. Lots of antique shops downtown that are fun to browse in. The Camp is a good lunch suggestion. Biscuits and Blues and Pearl St. Pasta are good restaurants too. I suggest the Castle at Dunleith if you want a fancier meal.
the brewery downtown is fun spot. good beer and good pizza.
Plantation homes are cool to visit.

Beers and shots at Under the Hill whilst watching the Yankees from the cruise ships

We've always liked Magnolia Grill under the hill. Another vote for the Donut Shop and their Tamales (and their donuts),as well as for the brewery and their pizza
Of course, you probably need to take a little drive along the Trace.
We also ate one year at Rolling River - I think it's now called Rolling River Reloaded. Was good back in the day.

Donut Shop - Donuts, tamales, but a lady in Vidalia told me their best product might be their burgers. Big and Juicy.
Malt Shop-old fashioned drive up burger stand. Frito pies, that sort of thing. Cash only.
Across the river in Vidalia, The Cafe. Great breakfast spot.
Nearby in Ferriday (FER-i-dee) is the Delta Music Hall of Fame. Check their website for hours, as its kinda weird..
City Cemetery - Key in on the Turning Angel, and the Florence Ilene Ford grave. Worth an hour.
Natchez City Hall - check out the tombstone for 'Tripod, The Citys Kitty" Interesting backstory about 9 minutes in.

Under the Hill Saloon and the Corner Bar are great dive bars if you are in to that.
If you want good cocktails and food you can also dine at the Pub under the Castle Restaurant.
Free disc golf course in Duncan Park for outdoor activity.
Farmers market on the bluff every Saturday morning.
I also endorse the other restaurants mentioned besides breakfast at the coffee company. Have had too many bad experiences there.

Coolest thing to do in Natchez is tour Longwood Plantation.

Windsor Ruins are pretty cool too if you don’t mind driving 45 minutes each way.
Pro tip: It’s fenced off now, but the last time I went you can access the space from the back side if the fence is still down.

And if you go see the WR you have to eat at The Old Country Store. Some of the best soul food you’ll find.

Recently stayed at The Cottages at Twin Oaks. Was really nice & great location. Ate at Frankie’s which is located in an old bank building. Also ate at the Pub at Dunleith which was across the street from Twin Oaks. Both were really good.
