Dealers cut their supply with stuff in order to cheap out and don’t necessarily think longer term than “ok what can I make this week?”

Same kinds of dumbasses like the guy in Boogie Nights who seems astounded that it was the second time that week a girl he was doing blow with had overdosed and was twitching on the floor.

What does this even mean? If a person wants to do coke they have to buy it from someone

Is this your brain on drugs?

it means don't do coke.

Don't touch it unless you get it from a pharmacy or dispensary. Anything else isn't worth it. I have occasionally dabbled with coke a few times in my life but it has been a few years and I'll likely never do it again because of this.

Adderall is more socially accepted meth, but its just as trashy.

Adderall is extremely helpful to those who actually need it and take it as prescribed. It's too easy to get for people who don't need it and just want to use it to stay awake and party, though.

I still do not understand lacing EVERYTHING with fentanyl though. Cartels are evil but they are smart. Killing off customers makes no sense. Dead people can’t pay??

It's not the Cartels lacing the drugs, it's the idiot street dealers in the US. In fact, the cartels are now dying their fentanyl supplies pink, so when it's laced, you can tell. Mexican drug dealers are infinitely more intelligent than US dealers, they don't want the heat on them.

Entirely different

So is weed and xanax, but people use whats available.

If coke were legal, meth wouldn't be a big thing.

Need it? So they can concentrate better than they naturally could?
Call me ignorant, and correct my ignorance.

I personally know of several people (mostly siblings of people I know) that have OD'd the past half year. Its fricking sad. Its also selfish to put your loved ones through that. It absolutely wrecks their families. I am not saying that addiction isn't real, or isn't a disease, but I could absolutely NEVER put my folks through that shite.

I had a childhood friend die a few months ago from an OD. He was married with 3 kids (luckily grown). Normal guy with a normal career that got addicted to pain pills a number of years ago and struggled with it off and on.

Yes, need it. Folks with ADHD, predominantly inattentive that is intense have a very hard time focusing, often have intrusive thoughts that they can’t always control with learned coping mechanisms, and typically end up with comorbidities like depression because of the overwhelming nature of their symptoms.

And yes, Adderall can help that. Just because it may be over prescribed doesn’t mean that there aren’t people who legitimately need it.

I can’t imagine what it’s like knowing “several” people that have OD’d in recent years, as a couple of posters have alluded to.

That said, I have a hard time not putting most of the blame on the drug user. Get your pills from a pharmacy, end of story.

That’s why I buy enough to give a sample to a homeless person. If they OD I don’t use my part.

Agreed. Comparing Adderall to meth is ridiculous in that context.

I'm in the same boat. Going on a guys trip to Vegas next weekend for my bday. My buddies are joking/half serious about hookers and blow.

Not going to lie, the temptation is real, but I guess I'll have to settle for doing crushed up pot brownie off a hooker's arse.

Its meth lite for college kids who don't want to appear trashy but are trashy.

Oh don't be a puss. You just don't go first. Wait a few minutes and see how they react.
