I don't know what gateau de sirop is. Other than that I've never ate no grinnel or thistle.

I've had all except for choipique, ponce and chadron.

You forgot Oyster Dressing and stuffed artichoke.

45.

Not bad for a kid from NWFL.

I don't have a clue what a few of those things are, though.

This isn’t eaten only in Louisiana. It’s just what we call Chayote.

50. I feel like I could eat the few things I've missed on that list if I went to a traditional Cajun country pig butchering and roast.

Only ones I’m sure I’ve never had were chadron and maudlin. I’m not sure if I’ve had choupique or gateau de syrup, but I probably have. I’ve definitely eaten everything else on that list.

No Hogs Head Cheese?

I have a lot of family from all over Louisiana and have been able to try all on the list.

Some I will never try again.

I could only see 4 items off that list I haven't had.

Guess I've got swamp water running through my veins.

all except swamp rabbit and chadron (and I was born a Yankee) - I have had rabbit & squirrel stew that a neighbor prepared, but I don't know the source of the rabbit?

Chadron is the only one that I haven't had. Though, my parents harvested a thistle and gave it to a relative the other day to eat. I had never heard of that.
