In early 2022, Shapiro, then attorney general, said the Pennsylvania fake electors’ actions did not cross the line into criminality.

If they had just made it conditional, laid low, and waited, none of these criminal indictments would have flowed. But no, you had a bunch of boomers with partisan brain rot who were actually convinced of the bullshite and that they were real and legitimate. The lawyers who advised these dopes (like Rudy) should be thrown under the jail.
