I work out in my garage. May go max out at Powerhouse at the end of the month.

don’t get his hate for the belt. I prefer to use one for anything above a warm up…

I mean, I get it but I’m going to continue using one over 75% work sets, because I want to

Using a belt is fine, but you are absolutely giving up training absolute strength when using one. The midline strength you develop from having a heavy bar on your back or in the front rack is a real thing.

I don't use my belt unless I absolutely have to

You’re absolutely correct, but I like a belt on heavier squats.

I'm in my element. I've already copied it by hand in my workout log. I'm an old fart!

Day 1 in the books. Gonna have to get the 30 minute walk in before/lunch once the kids go down for naps.

Definitely should have prepped more. This month is gonna be rough

Set my alarm for 5, didn’t realize it was for M-F only. Then I slept til 6:30 because of course I’ll sleep in today even though I never sleep past 5. Now I’ll have to wait til tonight, maybe tomorrow. Not an ideal start

I felt well prepped except my forearms. Good lord at that bench/farmers carry superset!

Couldn’t do chin-ups, bench, or push-ups due to the elbow pain. That sucks.

May need to figure out substitutions for different lifts until this thing heals.

Did an extra set of deadlifts and farmers walks.

Man I wish you were close to me I’d inject it for you.

I just finished day one. I overestimated the weights (and maybe the 40 yards lol) for farmer carry’s. The wall sits were not fun at the end.

Won't lie. That 4th set on cardio turned me in to a puss.

Overall, it was "DECENT" and just took a little over an hour. My old arse took the full rest periods, too.

I did better on chins than I thought I would and I didn't use a belt at all today.

Squats felt really good. Looking forward to day 2.
