Ever notice how ATM machines, gas pumps, etc. beep constantly and won't complete the transaction before you pull out your card now?

There's a reason they made that a feature.

Credit cards are usually gonna be the safest option since they come with fraud protection.

Not to mention cash back or rewards. I use my credit card for almost everything and then pay it off so I don’t carry a balance.

The apps solve so many problems. And usually always give you a deal.

Use the NFC tap to pay feature on your phone. It can't be skimmed and there is nothing to take a picture of.

I am getting to the point where I refuse to patronize businesses who don't have NFC readers. Home Depot, for some reason, still doesn't have them which is odd. But at 90% of places it is not an issue. Even mom and pop shops have it now.

We need to stop handing our cards to people. European's have been bringing a credit card machine to the table for years.

Or maybe don't be a piece of shite and prosecute criminals who steal credit card info

Make it legal to beat anyone committing credit card fraud against you.

Mybe if the minimum sentence for theft was higher, these people wouldn't resort to theft.

Only idiots pay with cards at restaurants. It’s the only place where your card goes out of your sight. And that’s how they get stolen. So I pay cash almost everywhere.

Folks regularly drive off without removing the gas nozzle. Know a dude who makes bank riding around replacing hoses at gas stations every day. Says his job basically did not exist before smart phones--it happened but nowhere near daily.

Don’t be trashy and instead, cook healthy food at home.

No problems

Those assholes get me about once a month. Don't carry a wallet on me anymore--use the iPhone payment deal almost everywhere--and I'll forget and end up trying to check out there. Gotta sit everything back, trek to the truck, find my wallet, trek back in, wait in line, etc, etc, etc. It has definitely caused me to choose Lowes a couple of times.

I have no problem with this. The low IQs on the OT somehow wet their pants though when a machine is put in front of them with tip options and they can’t figure out how to choose correctly. Or customize the tip to be what they want it to be.

Whataburger on burbank got me a few months back. Pretty sure it was the manager.

Tried to make a single 15k purchase via etsy...

Of all the dumb things I've bought, I've never gone that dumb.

Amex flagged it. Cancelled card. Over nighted me a new one.

My discover card messages me the instant something is charged to my card

It will sometimes question a purchase if it’s outside my normal purchases.

If you artificially raise wages for fast food workers, the people that are currently making that wage, through training and/or experience, will, understandably, demand to be paid at a correspondingly increased rate.

So you're still hiring the same shite employees from the same shite labor pool you were drawing from before you hiked the minimum.

Just pay for your order with the mobile app. The workers will never see your card and you can either build up points or you can use valuable promos that will make your order cheaper than ordering it at the speaker.
