Garret Graves is probably the most competent administrator.
Kennedy is the best campaigner.
Jeff is the most conservative and ardent fighter, but also carries the most political baggage.
Cassidy has no constituency.
Billy is the most incompetent, corrupt, and completely beyond redemption.

In the past say 15 years, Nungesser's net worth has prolly gone from a half mill to over 200 mill.
Wonder how that is ?
He prolly awards more govt contracts than anybody.
Its been 16 months and he still has not repaired the Grand Isle state park..........
Florida can rebuild a 4 lane bridge in a week.....

Probably some state rep from a rural area or mayor of a small city who was successful in life before politics.

Dude is a seriously underrated representative. He had some issues with transitioning into college life but as for as serving the state, he has been a role model. I get update blog letters from his staff. He's a hard worker no doubt. He's not perfect by any means but he's definitely a hard worker who gets shite done.

Jeff Landry is the closest to a constitutional conservative

This was a nice job of handicapping the field.

Graves is a solid GOPe member of the uniparty.
This POS said that Biden won & that we needed to move on bc there wasn’t any fraud.
Blows my mind how easily constituents forget…

Because all politics is local, especially when running for a state level office. Graves has delivered massively on local issues. Louisiana’s government is starved for any semblance of competence, and Graves would provide that. Landry, while a fighter, has not been a great administrator for the AG’s office. There’s been nothing but internal turmoil and turnover issues since he took over. While he has often been right on the issues, the day to day task of running that department has been pretty deplorable.
Of the GOP field, only Landry has been outspoken regarding election fraud, so don’t act like Graves is some lone GOPe exception in a field with Nunguesser, Kennedy, and Cassidy. At the end of the day, being “pro-trump” isn’t enough to win statewide office in Louisiana, just ask Eddie Rispone. You have to speak to local issues, and Graves, possibly more so than any other candidate, has skins on the wall that speak to those issues.

I’m just glad Cassidy decided not to run.

Kennedy is the biggest coward; if he actually cared about Louisiana he would have ran last time

Kennedy wins Send Landry to Senate

You can say that about Landry also

Bingo.
What Louisiana Government specific issue has Landry ever really dived into? Tax reform? Spending restructuring? Capital outlay pork spending? Education reform?
If it doesn’t have a tie into national red meat politics, Landry really hasn’t bothered.
Well…for one exception. The coastal lawsuit settlement, where he’s sided with JBE’s trial lawyer buddies and against Louisiana’s oil & gas industry.
I think Landry would be great in Congress to be the anti-AOC type and help push back national Democrat initiatives. Louisiana needs a conservative-minded leader who has also show previous enthusiasm for helping reform the state and its government structure.

Agree completely. I don't care much about the other candidates either way, but I hate Billy.

Rispone was an AWFUL candidate. Any other proTrump candidate would have won that election.

Was coming to say anyone but him and I grew up in Plaquemines Parish

Landry was the main voice of opposition to the governor’s Covid executive orders.
