Look at the photos of concerts where cell phone use is rampant. You don't think that hordes of trash holding up their phones does not disrupt the line of sight of others?
It does not affect me. If I go to a concert, I'm either front row or some other view that cannot be obstructed.

My friend, no one is stopping you from being rude.
When the crowd waves or raises hands, the hands move. By their nature, the phones have to be still to get a decent video. Because they are still, each phone has to fill a slot to keep a clear view, so the entire field of view becomes highly obstructed.
It does do one thing - it can make the back of the floor a really bad place to be.

I just watched the video, and holy shite, does she come off looking pathetic.
She literally complained that they weren't listening to her singing. They paid probably hundreds of dollars for that ticket, be thankful for that because coming to your show does not mean they need to hang on every word you say.
Based on her logic, she should yell at people who go go grab a beer during a song, HOW DARE THEY!!!

Not the same. I'm not talking about snapping a pic and putting your phone down. I'm talking about having the phone out and up for most of the show.
I've never had problems with people holding their hands up in the air and cheering for most of the show. It doesn't happen.

I pay attention at games and concerts and rarely film or take a bunch of pictures.
If I want video from the "Garth Brooks" concert...I will go to YouTube the next...someone is going to upload it.
