I work at Walmart and I sit in my truck every day on my lunch hour and just watch people. So I know at least half of the do-gooders in this thread are full of shite.

Just got in the car at Robért. Lady who was shopping the whole time as me, roughly 65-70, has a broken arm and it’s in a sling. Whatdoyaknow, she loaded the groceries into her car and took her cart and walked it back into the store lobby. Hmm.
Really makes you wonder. A 65 year old with a broken arm doing better than young moms and dads.

I return the cart. The stores I shop at Publix or fresh market do have places throughout the parking lot. That is the only store I would ever need one. If it was a downpour I would place next to a gator or dogs fans car so they hit it.

Check out the parking lot of the Wal Mart on Burbank and you’ll see shopping carts that are left in the raised rocky areas between the parking lanes. It took those people more effort to get the carts there instead of rolling them to the return areas.

That's why I grab one in the parking lot (usually in a parking space or in the handicap area), walk it in the store, do my shopping and return it to a rack in the parking lot after I load my truck. That is how we should do it, if physically able.

This always blows my mind. Park next to a cart corral if you’re too lazy to walk to one to return it. My 3 year old loves pushing the buggy to the corral to “crash” it. Don’t let your kids be your excuse.

I never go to Walmart but those people always make me laugh. Spend so much time trying to make sure the cart won't roll away. When they can just return it to where it is designed to go.
What is the thought process here? Walking too hard? But they already walked to the store and back
