The "we're good with 2 of the 3 on the floor" + the GUSHING Zion comments tells me he's at least thinking about moving BI. CJ and Zion were pretty good on the floor together (and CJ shoots a hell of a lot better with Zion on the floor). This is encouraging, I hope there's follow through.

They’re just going to sign a new center and keep the same 3 and Willie. Griff will keep running this crap back.

Problem is if no big star is available will Griff still trade for younger developing players who are better fits and picks for BI?

We’ve been nothing but success in that case.

I would like to see who he thinks of as star players first before making that determination.

He alluded to Z,BI and CJ as stars so that makes me think he’s thinking more top 50 guys that fit together.

He didn’t talk about a potential extension for BI like he thought BI should get a max, so that part was interesting

Pelicans executive David Griffin: “In the past, we’ve always erred on the side of continuity, and our takeaway has always been let’s see this group healthy. I think we’ve seen it enough. I think we had some really good opportunity to see Zion play a career-high in games. I think we saw it for segments of time well enough to understand that we’ve got a lot of work to do. Because it’s a historically good Western Conference, there are teams that didn’t make the playoffs that are going to get radically better this offseason. We need to do the same. I think you’ll see a real sense of urgency from all of us to do that.”

Fits the Benson organization well. He acts just like a used car salesman. Tells you want you want to hear but when the rubber meets the road he raw dogs you.

And then he goes on to talk about upgrading role players and how teams don't build around 1 guy.
