No alcohol

I did this and ending up gaining weight because my body was missing the sugar (alcohol) and replaced it with ice cream. Granted I’m a recovering alcoholic so it’s a little different, but 90% of alcoholics I know do the same thing.

Ozempic / Wegovy will do wonders, if you have no family history of thyroid issues (otherwise, do not take it, and do not lie to them). They say it’s not a magic pill, maybe for some people it isn’t. It was absolutely a magic pill / cheat code for me. The goal, of course, is to make better eating habits while you’re doing it, but I didn’t change my diet one bit for the first month and lost 8 pounds.

Baws on here shite talk it (while also shite talking fat people for being fat) but peptides when they’re not abused are about as safe as you can get as far as magic pills. Infinitely more than anabolic steroids and such.

Get Kidney failure. I went from a 38-40 to a 34 in three weeks. And the 34 needs a belt to stay up.

No, you gained weight because you ate too much ice cream not because you cut out alcohol.

Bread whether wheat or not has to real nutritional value, oatmeal is loaded with carbs, bananas while they are a fruit are one of the worst ones you can eat, and pasta along with rice have no real nutritional value. Honestly, that’s probably a good diet for a 50 year old woman not anyone cutting weight or trying to build muscle

I did that exact waist drop by eating meat only for lunch and dinner (skipped breakfast intermittent fasting) for 4-5 days a week. And yes, not drinking.

If you don't have an addictive personality you could try meth for a few weeks.

Fasting is easiest for me. I only eat between 6pm to Midnight, usually only one solid meal. Light cardio. I'm down 20 lbs in less than 2 months. I also eat whatever I want thus far which is huge for me sticking with it. Still drink 3-4 days a week usually depending on what I'm doing.

No shite retard, that’s what I said. The cravings went into overdrive as soon as I stopped drinking. As I said, 90% of alcoholics are the same way. Ask someone in recovery. Casual drinkers have no problem with it.

Lost over 20 lbs. from lifting and doing cardio.

Usually do between 15-25 minutes cardio and/or weights 3-5 times a week

You've rationalized it and created a false reality that you cut out alcohol and gained weight. It's a lie you've gotten comfortable with but no need to get angry. Alcohol had nothing to do with your weight gain it's just what you've decided to blame it on.

No, I blamed the cravings on stopping alcohol. Weight gain was because of the cravings. The point is, it’s not as simple as cutting out alcohol. This isn’t an opinion, it’s a fact. The weight gain was because of cravings, the cravings were because of cutting out alcohol. Had I not cut out alcohol, my weight would have maintained like it had for years. Hence, it is not as simple as cutting out alcohol because people often replace it with something else. You’re getting hung up on semantics. For some stupid reason.

I started randomly eating more ice cream when I quit drinking alcohol too! I never linked the two behaviors together!

I know.

The cravings are/were because you lack (or lacked) self control. Quitting alcohol became your justification but it isn't and was never the reason; only the excuse.

No, the weight gain is because you couldn't say no to your cravings. Cravings have no caloric quantity. They don't make you gain weight. Poor self control manifested in overeating and not exercising or burning calories does.

It's not semantics, it's a harsh reality that people have to realize if they want to become healthier.

And yes...it is that simple. Dropping a few inches in the waist can be very simply accomplished by removing alcohol. Not easily, but simply.
